Upgraded from iphone 11 pro got the 12 pro max. Mine is getting warm as well that you couldn't use the flash in the camera app. And it's draining battery so quickly. Like 3 hours. And it also affected the battery life of my apple watch series 6. Now my watch won't last for 2 hours. The battery culprit I think was apple music.

I have a 14 pro max and I can’t drain the battery in a day. Like I can sometimes get 12 hours screen on time before I hit 20%. And that includes some gaming, music, watching videos and browsing Reddit. My battery usage yesterday was barely 50% after 6 hours screen on time, and that was using the phone from 8am Saturday to 2am Sunday.
